3 Seater Sofa FAQs

Most 3 seater sofas are 190 to 220cm wide, 90 to 100cm deep and 85 to 100cm high, with recliners at the deeper end of that because of the footrest mechanism. Compact 3 seaters run from about 175cm. Every product page lists the exact width, depth and height of that sofa, so measure the wall it will sit against and allow a little room either side. If you are short of space, see compact sofas or a 2 seater.

Usually, yes. Most 3 seaters arrive in two sections that join together, so the piece you need to get through the door is roughly half the sofa's width, and standard UK doors are 76 to 84cm wide. The sofa's height or depth, whichever is smaller, needs to clear the door frame when it is turned on its end. Check hallways and tight turns too. If access is tight, call us with the measurements before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
