The extra width goes into the seats rather than the arms, so four adults sit comfortably or two can lie along it. Every product page lists the exact width, depth, height and seat depth of that sofa, so measure the wall it will sit against and allow a few centimetres either side. If the room will not take 220cm, a 3 seater or a corner sofa that uses two walls may seat as many in less space.

Usually, yes, because most 4 seaters here are split-frame designs: the sofa arrives as two halves, each around 110 to 125cm wide, and they bolt together in the room. Standard UK doors are 76 to 84cm wide, so what matters is that each half's height or depth clears the frame when turned on its end. One-piece 4 seaters are harder, and the listing says if a sofa is one piece. Check hallways and tight turns too. If access is tight, call us with the measurements before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
