Stand facing the sofa as it will sit in your room. If the corner or chaise is on your left, you need a left hand corner sofa; on your right, a right hand corner sofa. Retailers label it the same way, left hand facing or right hand facing, so you can compare like for like.

Measure both walls the sofa will sit against, then take 10 to 15cm off each for skirting and breathing room. Compare that with the width and depth on the product page, which show the exact size of that unit. Check the route in too: door widths, hallways and tight turns. Most corner sofas arrive in two or three sections, so the biggest single piece is usually the chaise or corner unit, not the whole sofa.

If your access is tight, call us with the measurements first and we'll tell you honestly whether it fits.

Yes. Everything on this page is physical stock you can sit on at one of our four showrooms, in St Helens, Stockport, Stretford and Warrington, with more than 1,000 pieces on the floor between them. Buy in store or online for the same price. If the one you want is at another showroom, ask and we can usually move it.
