Parker Knoll is an established English manufacturer, known and trusted for quality in everything they do. The Hudson 23 is very popular across all demographics, largely because the chairs and sofas have high backs for lots of back and neck support, as well as shallow seats, which means it's easy to get up and out of. It also has good lower-back lumbar support.
The Hudson is very well made, with hardwood construction and foam seats. All the things you'd expect from a good brand manufacturer like Parker Knoll. The chairs and sofas come in many colours and various materials, like fabric, leather and velvet. You can take the backs off by unzipping them, which allows you to wash them should you need to.
The price of a Parker Knoll is on the high side. You can definitely get something similar for a lot less, but it's not going to have the same decades' worth of use as a Parker Knoll.

Lovely footstool. We didn’t purchase one when we ordered our sofas and chair because we purchased a recliner sofa. But as I much prefer the non recliner sofa I missed a footstool so this has made our room complete.

Nicely made and very comfortable Parker Knoll furniture. May not be the lowest price point but it is British made and excellent quality.
I thought that I would be using the matching chairs in preference to the settee, but it is very comfortable, even without recline functions, and there is space to put computers and books. It's almost a mini office which suits me.

We are a bit disappointed with our chairs, we have waited so long to choose some new chairs and they are not quite what we expected, they are not as comfortable as we thought they would be, ( l know it’s early days) we really miss the wings at the sides, material and look of the chairs are lovely, but………. We hope they will soften in time and be a bit more comfortable and softer.
