2 Seater Sofa Beds

A pull-out sofa bed with a proper mattress, the type DFS and Sofology sell as a deluxe sofa bed, is fine for guests and for regular use over a few nights. For every night, a bed and mattress will always be better: the mattress in a sofa bed is thinner so it can fold, and the frame sits lower. A pull-out sofa bed keeps a folded mattress under the seat cushions; you lift the seat and unfold it, so the bed has its own mattress and the sofa keeps proper cushions. A click-clack drops the sofa's backrest flat to make the bed, so you sleep on the seat and back cushions themselves. Pull-outs are more comfortable to sleep on and to sit on; click-clacks are lighter, cheaper and quicker to convert. Most of what we stock is the pull-out type, and every listing says which it is.

A 2 seater sofa bed usually opens to a small double, about 120cm wide; a 3 seater or corner sofa bed opens to a standard double, about 135 to 140cm wide, and some large designs reach king width. Bed length is normally 180 to 190cm.
