This recliner is firm to sit on, but that may ease with time. The back is not quite as high as I expected but is acceptable if you recline fully (I am only 5'3"). I would not describe the fabric as chenille as there is no pile to it. You need two people to unpack it as there is cardboard packing underneath that has to be extracted, and it is heavy to lift due to the recliner mechanisms.
I received my 3+2 sofas yesterday.. Absolutely delighted with them. Material is lovely and soft, the sofas are well made and so heavy..great quality. I'm really pleased with them and the price is amazing.

Overall this armchair is really good, only slight niggle is the footrest doesn't appear to lock in place so gradually lowers with the weight of your legs,other than that no assembly required just unpacking, lovely material and the back support is really great.

I bought this for my mum as she's just moved to a new home. She is having to start again from scratch and needed a sofa, this is perfect. Very comfy and very glad I got this for her. To be honest I'm thinking of buying one for myself.
I bought this because I'm having problems with my back and legs. It looks good, well made enough, but the problem is I'm not strong enough to activate the reclining lever. So I get someone to activate it, but the I haven't got the strength to fold the footrest down to the point where it closes. I'm hoping that the lever will loosen off eventually.

Comfortable enough for the price. Hard wearing fabric, quality feel. Nice natural colour. Its medium to firm, id prefer soft but im sure it'll soften over time.
Recliner pull latch a little stiff for my OA fingers but maybe because its new.
Really wanted a soft sprung seat and easy recline chair, just a little firm and stiff, hence the 4 star. Just preference.
