Do I need to clear the room and route?
In short: a few minutes of preparation helps your delivery go smoothly. Clearing the route from the door to your room means our team can get your furniture in quickly and safely. Here is how to get ready.
Getting ready for delivery day
To help everything go smoothly, it is worth doing a little preparation before we arrive:
- Measure your access. Check your doorways, hallways, stairs, any lift and your room so you know your furniture will fit. Our Will It Fit? guide shows you exactly what to measure.
- Clear the route. Give our team a clear path from where they park to your chosen room.
- Move anything in the way. Ornaments, small furniture, low wall fixtures or trailing cables along the route are best moved aside.
- Check vehicle access. Make sure our delivery vehicle can reach your home.
- Protect your home if the route is tight. Temporary coverings on walls and floors can help avoid marks.
