Do you ever sell damaged items?

‹ Back to Products & Stock help

In short: the vast majority of our furniture is brand-new and in perfect condition. Just occasionally a piece has a minor fault, and when it does, we always describe it clearly and show photos, with the price reflecting it.

Almost all our stock is flawless

Nearly everything we sell is brand-new and completely undamaged. Our furniture comes from cancelled orders, clearance and overstock, so the great majority arrives with us in perfect condition. See is your furniture brand-new?

When a piece does have a fault

Every so often, a small number of items have a minor fault, such as a small mark or a bit of transit damage. When that happens, we are always upfront about it:

  • We describe the fault clearly in the product description.
  • We include photos so you can see exactly what it looks like.
  • The price reflects it, so you get an even better deal.

That way, there are never any surprises. You always know precisely what you are buying before you order.

Your rights are protected

A clearly disclosed fault is reflected in the price, so it is not something you can claim for later. Everything else is still covered by your statutory rights, and if an item arrives with damage we did not describe, we will put it right. See are my statutory rights affected? and my order is damaged
