Can I return an in-store purchase?
‹ Back to Returns & Refunds help
In short: in-store and showroom purchases are final. Because you have seen and checked the exact item in person before buying, they are not covered by the 14-day change-of-mind window that applies to online and phone orders. If an in-store item turns out to be faulty or not as described, your statutory rights still apply.
Why in-store purchases are final
When you buy in one of our showrooms, you can see, touch and check the exact item before you pay. Because you have already inspected it in person, there is no change-of-mind return window the way there is for online orders. Please choose carefully in store, and ask our team anything you need to before you buy, that is exactly what they are there for.
Online and phone orders are different
If you ordered online or over the phone, you bought without seeing the item first, so you do have a 14-day change-of-mind window. See how long do I have to return an item?
Good to know
Faulty items are always different. If an in-store purchase turns out to be faulty or not as described, your statutory rights still apply, whether you bought in a showroom or online. See my item arrived faulty or damaged.
